Smoked Ribs for a Cause to benefit L2 for Kids

Purchase onsite some delicious smoked ribs for Thrivent Giving Day.

All proceeds will benefit L2 for Kids. You can find the smoked ribs ready to heat and eat at the following locations on Tuesday, December 3rd from 10:00am to 6:00pm.

• Pork ribs $25 for 1 or $100 for 5 (5th is free)
• Beef ribs $40 for a 4-bone
• Combo Deal 1 beef & 3 pork $100 (3rd pork is free).

L2 For Kids Buys New School Clothes For 829 Children

Over 30 towns and 27 volunteers involved

WILLOW ISLAND, NE.(AUGUST 22, 2019)– This August, 829 grade school children in over 30 towns in 8 shopping days at 5 local Walmart stores picked out their own new school clothing to be purchased by L2 for Kids totaling $57,611.89.  

Since 2012, L2 for Kids has given over 5,300 under privileged children an opportunity to shop for their own new school clothing.  As Lazarus in the Bible was given a second chance at living,these children have a second chance to feel loved, feel good about themselves, be accepted by their peers, have a better way of life.  

L2 for Kids, Inc., a tax exempt 501(c)3 corporation located in Willow Island, has local councils in Grant, North Platte, Gothenburg, Cozad, Lexington, Callaway, Alma, Holdrege, Elwood/Eustis Farnam, Arapahoe, Cambridge, and Hitchcock/Red Willow counties with over 150 local volunteers.
